What this Blog is About!

Hey Guys!!!

This is my very first post and I am very excited to start this blogging journey with you!

I have written a little teaser about what this blog is going to be about in my About page but I’ll reiterate it here >>>I want this blog to be a place where we can have conversations about books and reading in general. Yes there will be YA book reviews but there will also be posts on various topics related to books and reading. From the hated love-triangle to judging a book by its cover to libraries to reading pet peeves. This will be a place where we can get super excited about a book or topic and turn around the next day and go on a rant about a book or topic. Come along for the ride!

I was inspired to write this blog from my experience working at a library. I have been noticing more and more lately that when people come to the library looking for a book to read they usually come in with a list of books that have been recommended to them by a friend. There are also many people who come in wanting to check out a book that has recently been made into a movie or that Oprah has dubbed as Amazing!

I just want to shout to the heavens, “haven’t you heard of goodreads!” or “browse the shelves of the thousands upon thousands of books we have and you will find something worth reading.”

I have come to realize that there are many people out there that want to read they just don’t know how to begin.

Hopefully together we can make readers out of non-readers.
